Yun Lu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria. She received her PhD at the University of Edinburgh and her BSc/MSc at UCLA. Her primary research area is cryptography, particularly in differential privacy and blockchain security. Her interests range from advancing theory to improving applications through merging techniques from different areas, such as machine learning and retrieval-augmented generation.
